“Look who I've bumped into-Ariana Torrey, who's just been dumped by Brian Lodge!” Lila deliberately raised her

voice, attracting everyone's attention in the otherwise silent library.

Ariana did not want any . She bent over, ready to pickup her books, but Maddie stepped hard on her hands

She quickly explained, “It was Ariana! She bumped into us, knocking our books out of our arms, but refused to

apologize! We're just teaching her a lesson!”
