Alaric and Stellan were exhausted these past couple of days. They finally wrapped up their work and wanted a

break, but Richard's agent showed up at Nexus Innovations. Rowena and Richard, the designated ambassadors,

expressed their gratitude to Alaric and requested a dinner meeting.

it."

Caspian and Harry both fell silent.

After encouraging them, Alaric and Stellan left. Elisa was the most disheartened.

She sighed deeply and said, "I can't help it. Let it all end."

Elisa went upstairs, leaving Caspian and Harry to handle the battlefield. A fierce look passed between them,

indicating they no longer had the energy for argument. Tonight's dinner was at a top-tier club chosen by Richard,

who was hosting. It was in the largest private room on the top floor.

When Alaric and Stellan arrived, Rowena and Richard were already there.

Seeing them enter, Richard hurriedly went to greet them, with Rowena following behind.

"Mr. Knight, Mrs. Knight, I'm honored you could join us for dinner," Richard said eagerly, shaking Alaric's hand.

are wonderful. You're so talented, writing, composing, and playing instruments. It's amazing," Stellan said.

"Mr. Knight, everyone says you are the most valuable young entrepreneur in the business world. Meeting you

help but think of Harry's words about everyone around Alaric flattering him excessively.

Wasn't Richard doing the same? Alaric hadn't even said much.

Stellan no longer wanted to listen to Richard; she just needed to find a chance to ask Rowena about Cormac.

"Mr. Richard, you're too kind," Alaric said, raising his teacup. "I can't drink alcohol, so I'll use tea instead."

Hearing that Alaric couldn't drink, Richard immediately looked at Stellan, then smiled knowingly and said,

"Understood. Drinking is bad for your health. Mrs. Knight, being a renowned doctor, is right. It's better to drink
