him was a burly man, nearly fifty years old but exceptionally strong. He had been Stuart's right-hand man and

confidant.

Must have been tiring," Ambrose said, quickly taking the suitcase from Bill's hand.

Todd lowered his sunglasses and glanced at Ambrose, smirking mockingly. "You're really riding high, looking more

and more presentable."

"You're too kind, Todd," Ambrose said, bowing his head slightly.

"Where's that dog of yours? Why didn't he cwith you?" Todd asked arrogantly as he walked ahead, his tone

full of disdain.

"Denny is at the hotel, making sure everything is safe for your stay," Ambrose replied.

"Not bad. You are quite thorough," Todd said playfully as he walked. "Speaking of Denny, he's been with the Vale

group for years, but he's just trash. You can't win over the higher-ups, so you settle for trash. What's the use?

But..." Todd suddenly paused and looked at Ambrose, continuing, "You and that trash are quite a match. If you
