Chapter 414 When Will We Have Our Own Children?
"Save it for someone who actually cares. | don't want it," Elisa shot back.
"Didn't wanna teach you anyway. If you weren't my sister, | wouldn't even bother talking to you," Harry snapped.
"Elisa's our sister. Even if she says something dumb, you should be patient or gently correct her. What kind of
brother are you?" Caspian scolded Harry.
"You always putdown to make yourself look good. You're such a gentleman, so noble, so amazing," Harry
retorted sarcastically.
Hearing the three kids bicker, Cormac couldn't help but laugh. 'This is the best part of sibling relationships. They
argue daily, but their bond is unbreakable." Cormac took them to his apartment, where Rowena had already set
up a table full of dishes.
"Aunt Rowena, our parents ditched us tonight, so we had to cover for dinner," Elisa said sweetly.
"I'm more than happy to have you over. You can cfor dinner every day if you want," Rowena said, clearly
fond of the three of them.
Seeing that Aurora hadn't returned yet, Cormac checked the tand said worriedly, "Aurora should be back by
now. Why isn't she hyet?"
Just as Cormac took out his phone to call her, the door swung open, and Aurora walked in with her backpack and
a gift bag in hand. "Uncle Cormac, Aunt Rowena," Aurora greeted politely, smiling brightly when she saw
Caspian, Harry, and Elisa.
"Aurora!" the three exclaimed happily.
"Aurora, it feels like we haven't seen you in forever. | miss you so much," Elisa said.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Yeah, Aurora, how's high school?" Harry asked eagerly.
"It's great! My classmates are nice, my roommates are awesome, and the teachers really like me," Aurora replied
in a joyful tone. "You're so good at studying and so kind. Who wouldn't like you? You're definitely loved by
everyone," Cormac praised generously. Aurora smiled shyly. Noticing the bag in her hand, Cormac asked, "What's
that you're holding?"
"A gift for you guys," Aurora said happily, "I know you two just got married, and I'm so, so happy for you, so |
bought you a gift." Aurora bought them a gift? Cormac and Rowena exchanged a warm, touched glance.
"What gift did Aurora get for you?" Elisa asked curiously.
"lI wasn't sure what to get, so | asked the store clerk for a recommendation," Aurora explained as she took out
the gift. "She said this jewelry symbolizes eternal happiness for you two."
Aurora opened the gift box to reveal two pure gold pieces of jewelry. All of them were stunned.
"Is this made of gold?" Elisa exclaimed.
"Aurora, did you buy this? Where did you get the money?" Cormac asked.
"I earned it by tutoring," Aurora said, "Uncle Cormac, Aunt Rowena, this is my first gift to you. Please accept it. |
earned the money legally, | promise."
Cormac knew it was legal, but Aurora had always been frugal and never spent money recklessly. She must have
been tutoring all this tto save up for this gift. It was clear that this gift had cost her all the money she had
earned.
Rowena looked at the gift and then at Aurora, feeling a deep sense of affection for her. "Thanks, Aurora, but this
gift is way too expensive. We can't accept it. Let's return it tomorrow, and you can keep the money for yourself,
okay?" "No way, this is a heartfelt gift for you and a wedding gift. Don't you like it?" Aurora asked.
Rowena was about to say something when Cormac cut in, "We love it."
Cormac knew that if they didn't accept the gift, it would break Aurora's heart.
"We'll treasure this gift. Thanks, Aurora," Cormac said, hugging her. Rowena also hugged her warmly. "Thank
you, Aurora. | really love this gift."
"As long as you like it," Aurora said obediently, "I don't need much pocket money. | have a scholarship, so | don't
have to pay tuition. | don't have much else to spend money on."
Rowena couldn't help but marvel at how mature Aurora was. No wonder Cormac adored her so much; she truly
deserved it.
"Alright, let's eat before the food gets cold," Rowena said, carefully putting away the gift and sitting down to eat
with the four kids.
After dinner, Aurora played games, read books, and played toys with Caspian, Harry, and Elisa, having a blast.
Rowena watched this scene and felt a warm, loving feeling.
"Seeing them so happy makes everything in life seem worthwhile," Rowena said, snuggling into Cormac's arms.
"Cormac, seeing these kids makesreally want to have a child of our own." Rowena was now eager and
excited to beca mom.
Cormac said, "I want that too, but I think we should ask Aurora's opinion first. I'm worried that if we have a child,
Aurora might feel like an outsider. | want to discuss it with her first to avoid hurting her feelings." Rowena
nodded. "That's exactly what | was thinking. Let's ask Aurora first. If she genuinely wants a sibling, we'll go
ahead. If she hesitates, we'll wait a bit longer."
"Okay," Cormac said, kissing her on the cheek.
Meanwhile, at the movie theater, Alaric had just done the sthing to Stellan. They ended up watching a

On the screen, there was a similar scene, and Alaric mimicked the male lead, causing Stellan to lightly hit him.
"We're in public. What are you doing?" Stellan said, embarrassed. Alaric just laughed and leaned back to
continue watching the movie with her.
It was a tragic love story, ending with the male lead's death, leaving the female lead in tears. Stellan was also
crying her eyes out.
"It's just a movie. It's all fake," Alaric said, handing Stellan a tissue as they got into the car.
Stellan said while wiping tears, "I know it's fake, but the story was so touching. Why couldn't it have a happy
ending? Why did they have to kill off the male lead? It's so frustrating!" Alaric replied, "Tragedies are popular, |
guess."
Stellan said angrily, "If | had known it was a tragedy, | wouldn't have watched it."
Stellan had completely immersed herself in the story. If Alaric were to die, she wouldn't know how to go on.
Alaric smiled lovingly and helplessly, just about to start the car when he noticed the vehicle behind them and felt
the intense gaze from someone inside it.
